I wonder, what could a dolphin sighting, or 6, signify? I saw a pod of 5 swim by while watching my son participate in beach swimming lessons on Monday. I pointed them out to my Mum, although I don't think anyone else saw them. And again, tonight while fishing at the jetty, we were so lucky to have a beautiful, large dolphin hang out near us. She (?) would take a few breathes at the surface, swimming slowly around, much to everyone's delight, then shoot quickly downward out of sight. She looked large, muscular, and strong, yet fleshy and soft. She appeared calm, playful, relaxed then in a moment, a determined and speedy hunter. She was alone but she would soon return to her family, her community, her tribe. Balanced. Beautiful.

We stayed in Clare Caravan Park in the school holidays. The kids loved the jumpy pillow, as did I! They also enjoyed cruising around on their bikes while I made art...always a win, win. I created a colouring-in card this time, holding back on the black pen to ensure plenty of blank space for colouring. It was cool weather, low 20's, so not pool weather unfortunately for me....although we did try for about 30 seconds :-) You can see the cool, dark sky in the photo above. We checked out Mintaro Maze. It's a great spot for both kids and adults. In addition to the maze there are lots of fun and oversized outdoor games to enjoy. We had perfect weather to just hang out, plus it was the last day of school holidays when we visited so it was pretty quiet, crowd wise, which I prefer. Good times, we love visiting the Clare Valley :-)
