#4 got alot darker as I progressed but I don't mind the end result. #6 I'm really happy with this one. I might stick with the flower shape for a bit longer and see what I can come up with.

This card is going out to a friend today! It was fun to create; a blend of cute, feminine and funky. I like it. PS. My blog is having a few little tantrums at the moment, especially my category links on the side bar. Hopefully it will be fixed soon for easy navigation.
I mostly used a thick marker for this one but I prefer the other way round...to predominantly use a thin marker and just add a few touches of thick black.
So this is tonight's effort. I like it so far. I added the black area in the top right hand corner to hide a really dodgy fish scale pattern I attempted!
Last night I had a crack at some more doodling. It started off quite nice but when I got up to the 'H' I got tired... I should've stopped and gone to bed.... so that is a good lesson for me. So I have since drawn and coloured another 'H', perhaps to cover up the other one I'm not fond of. Maybe. Yes, I decided to stick the new "H" on...I think it looks okay. My circle is a little wonky too, hehe. Regardless, a good first effort. :-) I like using blank birthday cards from the cheap shop, they are a good size for a quick drawing and potentially a useful item. Stay tuned to see if I can get a little bit better at these drawings with some practice :-) I love doodling with black felt tip pen.
I find it relaxing and totally doable while the kids are around. Today's effort turned out quite cute :-) The Man of the House recommended this one for me... I love it :-)
